Mayan Codex

An ancient Mayan manuscript, often made from bark paper, containing hieroglyphic texts and illustrations that document Mayan history, rituals, astronomy, and culture. Only a few authentic codices survive today, offering rare insight into pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilization.
