A Wunderkammer, or 'cabinet of curiosities,' is a historical collection of notable, rare, and unusual objects, often displayed to showcase the wonders of the natural world, art, and human ingenuity. Popular in Renaissance Europe, these cabinets were precursors to modern museums.
