Guernica

Guernica is a famous mural-sized oil painting by Pablo Picasso, created in 1937. It powerfully depicts the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians, in response to the bombing of the town of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.
