Neutron Star

A neutron star is the collapsed core of a massive star that has undergone a supernova explosion. It is incredibly dense, with a mass greater than the Sun but only about 20 kilometers in diameter, and is composed almost entirely of neutrons. Neutron stars are known for their strong gravitational and magnetic fields, and some emit beams of radiation as pulsars.
