Lava Tube

A lava tube is a natural tunnel formed by flowing lava beneath the surface of a solidified lava flow. These underground passages are created when the surface of a lava flow cools and hardens while the molten lava beneath continues to flow, eventually draining away and leaving a hollow tube. Lava tubes can be found in volcanic regions and often serve as unique geological features for exploration and study.
