Hoatzin

The Hoatzin is a unique, leaf-eating bird native to the swamps and forests of the Amazon Basin in South America. Known for its distinctive appearance, blue face, and spiky crest, the Hoatzin is also famous for its unusual digestive system, which ferments vegetation much like a cow.
